I’ve waited

For a long time to do this. Waited for the perfect mood, moment, time, budget, climate, date, anything that will set the event to perfection and instead the opportunity came in one of my lowest moments.

Mula Batanes (Pt.2)

A couple of years after I wrote the first part, I decided to finally continue writing about this trip. But maybe on a different style. I was a different person then, and a very simple minded person on a vacation brings a lot of excitement in stories.

There are a few things I can recall when we traveled there, mainly that there are three basic tours you can do: The northern Batan tour, Southern Batan tour, Sabtang Island tour. Still trying to get a grip of a different kind of reality than what I Imagined before. It’s no trick question, life leads us to different kinds of adventure, you just have to see it as one.

Weekend: Intramuros

It’s always an experience being surprised by hidden gems in places that are so familiar and so near that usually one overlooks it.

It’s supposed to be just a lunch-out with family but my brother is taking his summer classes and is required to go to one of the most Historic places in Manila: Intramuros. In Latin it means, “within the walls”, hence the nickname: “The walled City”.
